The Ritz Candy Bar & Balcony Bar

At the Ritz, we pride ourselves on our diverse Food and Drink options including a range of delicious traditional and alternative cinema snacks. We’ve taken care to curate a menu that uses local suppliers wherever possible, on offer at our Candy Bar and upstairs at the iconic Balcony Bar.

DRINK

Our boutique wines and craft beers are entirely sourced from New South Wales vineyards and breweries - such as Young Henrys, Brookvale, Grifter and Modus Operandi - and can be taken into the cinema or enjoyed in the foyer after your movie. We also offer a selection of classic cocktails.

If you’re heading into a morning session, we serve locally roasted Mecca Coffee and stock Teadrop tea. There are soft drinks on offer as well as kombucha by The Bucha of Byron.

SAVOURY

For many it wouldn’t be a trip to the movies without a box of popcorn. Our popcorn is all natural and vegan-friendly, cooked in coconut oil and sea salt.

If you’re after something more substantial, we offer a range of substantial food options curated for ease and enjoyment. 

SWEET

For sweet tooths, we have a variety of choc tops, as well as tried and tested favourites like M&Ms and Maltesers are available alongside lolly bags by Sassafras Sweet Co., and tempting baked treats.

THE BALCONY BAR

Open weekdays from 5pm to 10pm and weekends from the early afternoon into the evening. We offer a selection of cool drinks and hot snacks that go together like Bogart and Bacall, and can be enjoyed on our beautiful balcony, widely known as one of the best spots in the area to have a drink. Our bar staff are experienced and friendly so whether you require a stiff Martini or something a bit more fruity and sweet, we will make you the perfect cocktail.

We are also a fully licensed venue (no BYO), so yes, you can take your drink into the cinema whilst you watch your film.
